Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NewLifeSMP services, including our Minecraft server, website at newlifesmp.com, and associated platforms ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use our Services. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Account & Access

Access requires authentication via Discord OAuth2. By logging in, you authorize us to receive your Discord account information (username, ID, email, avatar). You must also link a valid Minecraft account before accessing server-related features or making purchases. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your accounts and for all activity under your account.

4. Purchases & Digital Goods

All purchases through our store are for digital goods (ranks, cosmetics, crate keys, subscriptions) delivered instantly to your Minecraft account via server commands. Prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that:

  • Digital goods are delivered immediately upon successful payment
  • You have provided accurate account information for delivery
  • You accept the Terms of Service at the time of purchase, with your acceptance logged along with your IP address and timestamp

5. Refund Policy

Due to the instant-delivery nature of digital goods, all sales are final and non-refundable once items have been delivered to your account. We may, at our sole discretion, issue refunds in exceptional circumstances (e.g., duplicate charges, delivery failure).

To request a refund, contact us on Discord within 48 hours of purchase. Refund requests made after items have been used or consumed in-game will not be considered.

6. Chargebacks & Disputes

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us first will result in immediate and permanent suspension of your NewLifeSMP account, including:

  • Permanent ban from the Minecraft server
  • Revocation of all purchased perks and digital goods
  • Creation of a permanent punishment record
  • Notification via Discord

We maintain comprehensive evidence records for all transactions, including identity verification, delivery confirmation, TOS acceptance logs, and usage data. This evidence will be submitted to your payment processor in response to any dispute.

If you believe a charge is in error, please contact us first through Discord or the portal. We are happy to resolve legitimate issues without involving payment processors.

7. Donations

Donation items in our store are voluntary contributions to support server operations. Donations may come with cosmetic perks as a thank-you. Donations are non-refundable.

8. Server Rules & Conduct

You agree to abide by all server rules posted on our website and Discord. Violations may result in warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans at staff discretion. Exploiting bugs, cheating, harassment, and other disruptive behavior are grounds for immediate action.

9. Intellectual Property

NewLifeSMP and its branding, custom content, and original materials are our property. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios / Microsoft. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Mojang or Microsoft.

10. Service Availability

We make no guarantees of uptime or availability. The server may be taken offline for maintenance, updates, or other reasons at any time. We are not liable for any loss of data, progress, or items due to server downtime, resets, or technical issues.

11. Limitation of Liability

NewLifeSMP and its staff are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Significant changes will be announced on our Discord server.
